Anti-Overtrading Bot (MT5) — Free

Free MT5 utility that limits your daily entries. Turn on the Anti-Overtrading Police to automatically close any extra entries after the limit. It does not open trades — it’s your emotional seatbelt.

Requirements

• MetaTrader 5 (desktop).

• The top-bar button “Algo Trading” must be GREEN.

How to install (quick)

1) MT5 → File → Open Data Folder

2) MQL5/Experts → copy the .ex5

3) Restart MT5 (or right-click Experts → Refresh)

4) Drag the bot onto a chart and allow algorithmic trading

• With Police=ON, the utility will CLOSE entries opened after your limit.

FAQ:

Q: Does it open trades?

A: No. It only counts entries and (optionally) closes extra entries after your limit.

Q: I hit the limit but still need to manage my open trade.

A: That’s fine — the bot’s message is soft at the limit. Police only acts if you try to open another entry.

Q: It’s counting other symbols.

A: Set [SCOPE] Only this chart’s symbol = ON.

Q: SinceAttach counted from yesterday.

A: Use Per Day, or clear Global Variables in MT5 (Tools → Global Variables).
